The Ice Dragons are celebrating the most successful weekend in the club’s winter history after their senior and junior sides completed a club sweep, with all six teams in action winning their respective matches.

The five senior sides put in dominant performances across the board, outscoring their opponents 48 runs to 12.

The As defeated Watsonia 1-0 in hard-fought pitcher's duel to secure their third win of the season. Ryan Synnot pitched a near-perfect five innings in relief - the big right-hander baffled Saints hitters all day, striking out five and allowing only two hits.

The A Reserves looked like they were in for a tough game when they fell behind to Watsonia early, but the Dragon offence exploded to score 17 of the next 18 runs to secure to an easy 17-2 win.

The Ds have kept themselves in the hunt for top spot on the ladder with a comfortable 13-1 win against St Kilda. The scores may have been close early, but the Dragons controlled the whole game from start to finish and were able to snap their two-game losing skid.

The D reserves were locked was an early arm wrestle with St Kilda, but the Dragons stormed home, piling on the runs to eventually win 12-3. The win keeps Doncaster in the hunt for a finals spot, they sit four points behind fourth-placed Essendon with three games to play.

Jaymee Hassett-Smith lead the way for the EEs throwing a complete-game as the side defeated Melbourne Uni Grey 15-6 at their home-away-from-home Diamond Creek.

The Under 13s were the only junior side in action with both the Under 15s and 17s having a bye, they defeated Essendon 12-10 to keep their position atop the Under 13s ladder with only three weeks to go before finals.
