The Melbourne Sports Institute currently has positions available for casual softball & baseball umpiring & coaching in schools. Term 1 is an exciting and busy time for softball & baseball in the school curriculum.

Umpiring with Melbourne Sports Institute is flexible options for those who are not currently involved in full time work, but still want to get involved in community sport at school level - as well as helping grow the sport. 

We are currently seeking both softball and baseball umpires to take on matches for school associations across Melbourne during afternoons Monday to Friday as well as Saturday mornings.

Our matches run for approximately 70 minutes and payment is $40+ per match. All of our umpires are paid directly into their accounts after the submission of a timesheet.

Weekday matches are commencing at predominantly 4pm or 1.30pm with all day tournament fixtures also available, making it a perfect option for those who are not currently involved in full time work but still wanting to get involved in community sport at school level. 

Qualifications are not essential if potential umpires are experienced and have sound rules knowledge.

As well as umpiring, we also have various coaching positions available throughout the year.
