After a short break between seasons the MWBL Winter season kicked off over the weekend.

For the first time in club history we entered play as the hunted in the premier A Grade competition. In a grand final rematch we took a 2-0 lead after just two hitters thanks to a Brendan McDonald walk and a Marcel D'Avoine home run. The game remained close until the hour mark but then took a turn for the worse, eventually copping a 13-2 loss on the chin.

Similarly the 2's played well for half of the game but let a 6-3 lead slip late.

Jasper Steele highlighted the 3rds big win over Knox on Gilbert Park's diamond 22. Steele cleared the cones twice with Tom Ervin showing some power by popping one out himself!

The 4ths win was also huge given we played with only 7 players. Thanks to Cam Allen for joining the team to make the numbers.
