In a week of improved results the Women's 1sts continued their hot streak with a comprehensive win over Essendon and did so in the 2nds as well. Both games ended in mercy rule wins. But it was the mid week encounter that proved historic when club stalwart Belinda Cannington cleared the home run fence with lead off blast! The home run which sailed over the 3.7 metre high fence was the very first by a Doncaster Woman in the program's 20 plus year history, sending the team and the crowd into a frenzy! That wasn't the only exciting game during the week though as the Men's 1sts had a massive win over Malvern where a Jean Alvarado home run to put us up late in the game but that wasn't enough to get the job done. We again had to fight back and take a walk off win thanks to the clutch contact hitting of Angus Cooke!

In junior results the U/14 team again had a thrilling win over Research with a walk off win sending the kids home celebrating!
