Thursday, 28 January 2010 Southern All Stars win inaugural Sydney Women’s Invitational Tournament. The Southern All Stars, featuring Doncaster's Peta Collins, Bronwyn Gell, Samantha Hamilton, Amy McCann, Kathy Welsh and Vibeke Pedersen, have won the inaugural Sydney Women’s Invitational Tournament.
The team, which also featured players from Melbourne clubs Malvern, Werribee and Springvale, in addition to a West Australian player, were undefeated for tournamnet, beating the NSW Central Coast Marlins team in the final to become the inaugural champions.
