Wednesday, 28 October 2009 NJCAA Division II JUCO World Series, 2009. As reported earlier on the DBC website, the Doncaster Dragon Andrew Mazzocato's Parkland Cobras took out the 17th edition of the NJCAA Division II JUCO World Series in Oklahoma.
Andrew recently received his ring and was taken with the team trophy.
Ten of the best teams from around the country competed and Parkland, a former NJCAA champion in 2002, dominated from beginning to end to win their second World Series title defeating Scottsdale Community College (Ariz.) 11-3.
Mazzocato, 19, is in his first year with Parkland and coincidentally, playing with the Parkland 'Cobras' has allowed him to continue to wear the green and gold colours that he did for so many years for Doncaster and Greensborough.
