 Doncaster Mayor opens new batting cage

On Sunday, the Manningham Mayor plus numerous Council representatives made their way to Deep Creek Reserve for the biggest game in Doncaster Baseball history.
Season 07/08 got under way with the Official opening of the new dual lane, undercover, 45m Batting Cage & the Unveiling of 2007 Division 2 Premiership Banner, just minutes before the great action in the Doncaster 1s upset of reigning Premiers Waverley in their Division 1 clash.
The Manninham Council Mayor plus council representatives, DBC Board Members, current and former club players, life members and were in attendance and were lucky to witness the great match, one of the biggest games seen at Doncaster in its 34 year history.
