The Doncaster womens program is once again celebrating a succesful season with all four teams making finals, similar to last year when all 3 teams made finals.
And with 3B taking out the Minor Premiership in Division 4, the 1s and 2s finishing 2nd and 3A finishing 3rd, it was a solid and consistent performance all around.
Last round details:
1s def Werribee 16-6 @ home A solid hit out in the last round before finals the girls bats came alive and Kathy Welsh was outstanding on the mound. The 1s finished 2nd and will travel to Springvale for their first final on Saturday 10/3.
2s def Chelsea 22-1 @ home A must win game for the 2s to finish in 2nd spot, they showed why they wanted to be in this league with a powerful hitting display. Doncaster, after being moved up to Division 2 on their request, finish in 2nd spot and will now travel to St Kilda for their first final on Sat 10/3.
3B def 3A 12-9 @ home A must win for 3A to finish 2nd, but the Minor Premiers 3B didn't want to lost the 'tie breaker' to 3A and had a solid 12-9 win. 3A finish 3rd and will have a home final against Melton. 3B finished Minor Premiers and will host Waverley this Saturday afternoon.
