The Doncaster (DBC) women's program began in the summer of 00/01 (read about 10th Anniversary celebrations here) and it has now grown to possess one of the premier women's baseball programs in the country. It is the equal largest in Australia and is currently one of the few clubs to offer options for women in summer, winter, senior and junior categories.
 The DBC women have claimed three Baseball Victoria Division 1 Premierships (05/06, 07/08, 11/12), with eight womens premierships in total claimed by DBC womens teams in the past five seasons. (See History below).
DBC has four 2012 Australian team members (Hamilton, McCann, Gell and Collins), six current 2012 Victorian Women's team members (Hamilton, Gell, McCann, Amy and Erin Collins, Cannington).
SUMMER COMPETITION
Doncaster fields three senior women's teams in the upcoming BV Summer Competition (October - March).
Head Coach - The program head coach is Samantha Hamilton.
Ages - Open to females aged 14+. Younger girls aged can play Sunday morning U12 and U14 State/Metro League, Friday night teeball (Ages 4-9) or DBC Friday night baseball (Ages 10-12).
No experience necessary - The Doncaster Baseball Club invites ALL people wanting to play, no matter your baseball experience or skill. If you want to play, there are no trials, try outs, or restrictions, WE HAVE A TEAM FOR EVERYONE THAT COMES DOWN!
Games - The summer season runs October-March, with games played every Saturday at 1pm, 2pm or 3.30pm, depending on which team you are in or at which ground you are playing.
Training - All Women's teams Wednesday: 6.30pm - 8.30pm Deep Creek Reserve, Warrandyte Rd. (1s Squad - Mondays: 6.30pm - 8.30pm)
