Doncaster Baseball Club has teams in all Junior age groups - Under 10 (T-Ball) to Under 18 - and there are a couple of different competition options for some age groups.

2012/13 SUMMER SEASON - WHICH JUNIOR TEAM?
Born in 2000 or earlier?
Then you will be in an Under 14, Under 16 or Under 18 team which plays on Sundays. The season starts this Sunday October 9 – but you can join a team once the season starts.

Baseball Victoria uses the 31st of December as the cutoff.
Born in 2001 or later?
Then you can either play on Friday nights or Sunday mornings.
Sunday Morning: If you play on an Under 12 team on Sunday mornings it will be the same as the higher age groups. They play from 9am – 11am, getting to the ground by 8am to warm-up.
Games are home and away, with home games played at Timber Ridge Reserve. The away games vary depending on what Pool the team is in – but half the games require travel to another Club’s ground. Training for the U12 Sunday team is on Wednesday nights from 5 – 6:30pm.
Friday Night: Friday night baseball starts mid October which is the other option for Under 12 players (born in 1999 and after). Our Friday night competition is an internally run competition and geared for those kids who have not played the game before or those that are just starting.
We have T-Ball for kids aged 5 – 9 which is the entry level and will teach kids the basics and include games to help them learn the sport.
On Friday nights we also have our U12 Club Competition for kids aged 8 - 11. The U12 Club Competition has 4 Doncaster Club teams that play each other in a round robin style fixture. The teams all play at Doncaster’s home ground (Deep Creek Reserve) on Friday nights from 6 – 8 pm. There is no travel required except for maybe a game or two we may organize with another Club. The kids get to the ground at 6 pm and train with their coach for ½ hour, then they play a game from 6:30 – 8 pm - it is a fantastic family environment! There is no training held during the week.
